Reusing baby food jars - some ideas for recycling!

If you're like me and keep baby food jars, here are some fantastic ideas to reuse them! Being a Bargain Mum and keeping costs down can also lead to reusing and recycling, which is great for the planet!

Organiser
Tidy up garage shelves and tables with this hanging organizer made from baby food jars. Fill jars with nuts, bolts and washers for easy access. The baby food jar organizer also works well in your sewing room or in the pantry to hold buttons, nails and other small items.

Food container
Great for holding kid-friendly snacks (think raisins or Cheerios) or a single-serve portion of salad dressing in a lunch box.

Candles
Tea lights, votives, even tapered candles can all be placed inside a baby food jar. Keep the jar plain for a artimgviewsimple look or add embellishments for a themed party. Put a small amount of sand in the bottom of your jar to keep melting wax from sticking to the sides of the glass.

Baby Shower Favours
It seems fitting to give baby food jar favors at a baby shower. Bridal showers are just fine too. Pack ‘em with candy, a candle, loose tea leaves, bath salts…let your imagination run wild.
