Little Tea Cups

These simple to make treats have become quite popular in recent years, they are a favorite in my house and the kids love making them. Great for parties or a fun activity children of all ages will enjoy.

Ingredients
- Tic Toc biscuits
- Marshmallows
- Musk Life Savers
- 100’s and 1000’s
- Cooking chocolate

Melt a small amount of chocolate in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time.

Cut Musk Life Savers  in half with a large sharp knife.

Put some melted chocolate over the top of the marshmallow then dip into the 100’s and 1000’s.
Put some more melted chocolate on the other side of the marshmallow and stick onto the Tic Toc biscuit.

Dip the cut edge of the Life Saver into the chocolate and press onto the side of the marshmallow.

Costing

I first started making these little tea cups after seeing them in a cafe for $2.50 each. I thought I could make them for a fraction of that price, and it's possible! The total cost of making 24 tea cups is $6.17, with almost half of that cost being the biscuits themselves.

- Tic-Toc biscuits - $2.95
- Marshmallows on special $2.00 half a pack - $1
- Musk life Savers – 95c
- Cooking Chocolate $3.30 about a 1/3 of a pack - $1.10
- 100’s and 1000’s $1.69 1/10 of a pack - 17c

TOTAL COST = $6.17 or 26 cents each.

Shopping bill = $10.89, but hold onto your left over ingredients, we will be using them for our next blog recipe.
